That's a wrap! SAPPHIRE NOW Recap
SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference – it’s an engaging, energetic experience that is well-known for making three days feel like three hours. Best run, indeed!
This year, members of our team had the opportunity to attend the Digital Marketing Leadership & Innovation Day, Global Partner Summit, AND the conference. We also sponsored the ASUG Rail SIG Networking Day and the SAP Canada Reception. Fortunately, last year’s step competition taught us to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, so we were well prepared for this year’s extra events.
There are always incredible keynote speakers and 2019 was no exception – Tim Cook, Bear Grylls, Karlie Kloss, and Sandra Bullock, to name a few – all shared their insights on technology and innovation.
With the recent acquisition of Qualtrics, Experience Management was a major theme for 2019, specifically XO Data (that’s Experience and Operational data). Our team was surprised to hear that 80% of CEOs think their company delivers a great customer experience, but only 8% of their customers agree. Delivering a great user experience is at the heart of what we do at Convergent, so we especially look forward to hearing more about how we can leverage XO Data for our own customers.
SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference is never a complete experience without the concert. Attendees are always treated to an incredible show by a talented artist, but we think it’s safe to say that Lady Gaga nearly blew the roof off of the Amway Centre. Truly a highlight of an already incredible event.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came to our booth to chat with us about how to make your business better, as well as James Gervais from Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat for presenting with us on our new co-innovation app for business planning and consolidation with SAP Fiori. We’d also like to thank Andreas Hauser and Kathrin Tarnai-Sindl from SAP AppHaus – with their support, we look forward to growing this part of our business!
