Design Centre


Design Centre booking includes the following:   

  • Two large screen TV’s for display purposes with the option of a third if required 

  • Room configured to the goals and objectives of your meeting 

  • Two smaller breakout rooms adjoined to the Design Centre 

  • Whiteboards and markers 

  • Access to a kitchen including a coffee machine and a wide assortment of teas 

  • WIFI  

DESIGN THINKING COACH 

A Design Thinking Coach is also available for an additional fee to assist in whatever capacity you need help with. Tell us what you are trying to accomplish, and we can plan and facilitate the entire workshop for you. Do you just need someone to bounce some ideas off of? We can do that, too.

CATERING 

Catering can be arranged for an additional fee. There is also potential access to an outdoor patio and BBQ. Please contact us for additional details.

Monday to Friday: 8am-5pm 

We are happy to accommodate your meeting schedule during our regular business hours. The Design Centre can be booked for a minimum of 4 hours.

Our Design Centre is available for a minimum booking of 4 hours with prices for half- and full-day sessions as follows: 

  • 4 Hour Meeting Room Booking - $325 

  • Full Day Booking - $540 


Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO I BOOK A MEETING? 

We have an online booking system that allows you to see the room availability and request a booking. We will then be in touch to discuss the details of your meeting over the phone. 

IS THERE A MINIMUM BOOKING TIME? 

Our Design Centre is available for a minimum booking of 4 hours during our business hours. This booking includes the use of the two adjoined breakout rooms.  

WHEN IS THE ROOM AVAILABLE? 

Our Design Centre is available Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm.  We do not currently accommodate weekend or evening meeting times. 

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY MEETING? 

Our cancellation policy is as follows:  

  • Cancellation with 7 or more days' notice: 100% refund.  
  • Cancellation within 7 days of your meeting and up to 3 days prior will be charged 50% of the booking fee. 
  • Cancellation with less than 72 hours' notice prior to your meeting start time will incur the full booking fee and is not eligible for refund. 

We require a 50% deposit to confirm your booking and full payment 7 days prior to your event.

WHAT ARE THE RENTAL COSTS? 

Our Design Centre is available for a minimum booking of 4 hours with prices for half day and full day sessions as follows: 

  • 4 Hour Meeting Room Booking - $325 

  • Full Day Booking - $540 

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ROOM? 

We will send you a PayPal invoice that you can pay online via PayPal or we can accept an e-transfer. 

WHEN DO I PAY? 

We require a 50% deposit to confirm your room rental and require payment in full 7 days prior to your booking. 

IS THERE A CONTRACT? 

We will draw up a short contract so that everyone is aligned which helps to ensure your meeting runs smoothly and we are all on the same page.  


Meeting Day Questions

WILL ANYONE BE ONSITE FOR MY MEETING? 

Yes. Our host will greet you and your guests and will be on site for the duration of your booking. 

CAN I ARRIVE PRIOR TO MY MEETING TO GET SET-UP?  

Absolutely! We will assist in the set-up and configuration of the room based on your requirements, but we recommend getting here early especially if there is technology involved. 

DO I NEED TO CLEAN UP? 

While you don’t need to sweep the floors, we do ask that you place all garbage and recyclables in the proper containers and leave the room as it was when you arrived. 

WHAT IF MY MEETING IS RUNNING LATE? 

Please notify us as soon as possible if you are running behind schedule and we will determine if we can accommodate the extra time required. You will be invoiced for additional time used. 


ABOUT THE DESIGN CENTRE ROOM 

The Design Centre is one large workshop area of about 100 square metres with two smaller breakout rooms attached. The room can accommodate workshops of about 10 to 35 people and the room can be configured in multiple ways to suite your requirements.
