Senior UX Designer

ConvergentIS is offering the opportunity for a UX Designer to collaborate with our user experience and business process team to capture requirements to help our clients better understand their business and design a great user experience.

Responsibilities
- Build trusted client relationships by guiding them through business process discovery, optimization, and implementation across the existing product suite.
- Lead and facilitate both clients and internal teams in project meetings, discussions, and workshops to understand end-user needs and project requirements.
- Map out current and future-state business processes, helping clients align operations to maximize the value of the Rio platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, develop user stories, and design process flows that drive efficiency and adoption.
- Partner with clients and internal teams to ideate and design products from inception, focusing on delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Communicate complex business processes and solutions through clear diagrams, process maps, and prototypes to ensure alignment and understanding.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Design, Marketing, Business or similar preferred, but a solid combination of work experience and demonstrable skills will work.
- 7+ years of professional experience, ideally in management consulting, business process design, or innovation management.
- Experience in procurement and supply chain is an asset.
- Strong facilitation skills with a proven track record of guiding clients through process discovery and optimization.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex workflows into simple, visual narratives.
- Experience with process mapping and prototyping tools such as Miro and Figma.
- Expert-level skills in sketching and prototyping, you’ve made mock-ups so good they’re hanging on your mom’s fridge.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and visual, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in virtual and in-person environments.
